hello i own an evo VIII and when i first got my car i debadged it, but when i debadged it there were a few tiny scratches i had made into the trunk...i look at the spot where the scratches are and its starting to rust which is pissin me the hell off...will mitsubishi cover this under warranty...thanks for the help

I don't think they will. They'll say it's your fault since you debadged it or something like that.

 

nope dude you're on your own, but what i'd do is try to sand it verrrry carefully, like with the edge of sandpaper (to get off the rust) and touch it up with some factory touch up paint

 

Sorry man, best bet is to get this fixed asap though or you'll really be pissed.
