I have been checking around, trying to find a good used EVO 8 in my area. I just have one question. Is there any difference in the 2003-2005 year models? I used to have an SRT-4 and I know there were small differences each year, is this the case with EVOs? What would you consider to be a "good" year for EVO 8s?

THE BEST YEAR IS 05 it has the ACD (Active Center Diff) also the 10.5 hotside of the turbo im sure theres othe stuff BUT....

ya my 2005 evo seems to keep getting more power out of every mod i do compared to my two buddies 2003's

Just dish out the extra cash and get a IX.. trust me you will be regretting it if you dont.

 

Im looking at the IX also, but local dealers have them marked up considerably.
