Known IX problems?

Lately there have been posts about the IX having Gear Grinding problems, and I want to know if every one that bought the IX on this forums is having the problem or just a hand full of poeple.

I had grinding particularly if I went from 1st to 2nd if I shifted quick, but I learned to slow it down and no more grinding. Shifts smooth as butter now with 3k miles, but it was really notchy when I first got it.

I don't have a grind but more of a clunk from 2nd to 3rd. I have 11k+ on my IX.

once in a while it happens from 1st to 2nd but only when its cold out (I think).

I noticed that when I go faster I shift faster. The main problem with IX is that it is fast. No problems here! (Knock on wood.)

Oh yeah, and the only 'problems' that I've had was clamps coming loose under boost, but no longer. I love this car!
