Here is my personal experience. The MR out of the box is sweeth the 6 speed pulls hard in every gear, handling is great. If you are going to mod, get the GSR. I road race and drag race frequently. The 6 speed cannot take the high horsepower and shifting get very sloppy at higher rpms. I Shattered the input shaft on the 6 speed and have since replaced it with a shepherd built 5 speed. I also took out the ACD, i cracked that in 2, went back to the regular center diff with limited slip.
So bascially, if youre going to stay stock or close to stock stick wht the 6 speed, but if you go all out go i.e. big turbo, stroker, etc go GSR, atleast you will already have the 5 speed and you can just throw out the ACD and put in a limited slip non acd unit.
good luck you will be happy either way

Topic creator, I thought you said that you didn't like Evo IX and that you were happy with your STI at clubwrx.net? Its pretty funny seeing you post here as I would never have thought you would even try to drive an Evo considering how much of a negative opinion you formed about it over there. If you consider the seats to be uncomfortable, I suggest you keep your fatass in the STI and be happy with what you got.

I think that's hilarious that the world is so big yet performance car society is so small that we can track each other's movements from forum to forum (i.e. evolutionm.net, clubwrx.net, nasioc.com, etc...)....
That's y I've got different user names for every forum out there!
HA!
