Short Shifter

I am thinking about doing a short shifter since my IRS check just came. I have been looking around cause I dont want to spend too much. I know that ebay has lot of knock of products and "you get what you pay for", but I wanted to know if anyone is using one of the short shifters on ebay, in specific the B&M style one for 25. And are you happy with it? Any long term problems, any problems? Thanks guys And also if you feel that ebay is a waste, what is the best shifter for the price.....

I think the kartboy shifter is better than the B&M one.

I know some people got ebay shifter and they liked it. I'm tempted to try too.

Personally, i would not skimp when buying a short shifter. Quality in such a product is a definite must have considering the disasterous outcome if you were to miss a gear and zing your engine.

Don't quote me on this, but usually with JDM short shifters, you want to check if it is just shorter. Some actually will lean further to the right side since they are right hand drive. Just an FYI......

The WORKS Throw retains all the feel of the OEM shifter while reducing movement 15% or 30% and maintaining the original design characteristics (counterweight, hand position, etc...). We also offer a 6-speed version that we do in-house.

Buy this works shifter, I have been using mine for about 6 months an have nothing bad to say about it. The shifter has a much crisper feel immediately when installing and the install was so easy b/c it comes with the shift retainer so you dont have to cut anything off the stock shifter. Great product!
