I would have to agree though. I like to know Trap speeds and ET's to get an idea of how fast a car is, BUT, i like to know track times to know how well that car performs. This Forum is flooded with inflated dyno numbers and only half way decent times from those numbers.....I have had just about enough of it all. When i get the cash i will bring my car to the ring, since that is the only way i will be happy with the performance i am going for.
who really cares who the first person was anyways? There are probably other people who are capable of it but haven't got out to the track yet considering its still winter. Theres 3 inches of snow outside my door for instance. No one is taking away the fact that you made an awesome pass with a great time and that the IX is an amazing car.
It just seems so petty to care so much that you were the first in the US to start arguements over it, ya know? When it gets nicer out, I'm sure other people will hit the tracks and join you in the 11 sec IX club. Are you any better than them because you got there first? No. Both your car, and their cars, are sick. Just be happy that you have an awesome car man, no need to get angry over petty little things that really don't matter.

just read all the posts and it seems like everyone else keeps bringing up him being the first IX in the 11's. He only said he thinks he might be the first.

I know that there will be others with faster times probably. I didnt even know i was the first until i searched and was told by others so the point is that the Evo IX is capable of running 11's with minor mods and that my friend is the point of this post. So fellow Evo IX owners can see the potential and in fact know that with good driving and good mods that an 11 second pass is posssible.

doesn't matter!! .... he was still the 1st IX in the 11's!!.. he might be getting annoying but he really was the 1st to do it and he's got all the braging rights!!
hova- Nice run. I'd be right next to ya if I could get the rev limiter raised. This stock rev limit is killing me. Can't wait to meet up with Al. As for the haters. I am running 12.00/113 on the stock rev limiter bouncing on and off and with a 10.0 afr's. These cars will easily pulls 11 with our mods. Keep up the good work hova.
