bah, in a place where there are maybe 5 or 6 in a month at least wave. oh well. to each their own.

and i dont think the grand am relationship holds to a car where 50x the production numbers exist.

Every Evo I've seen gives at least a nod. Maybe he thought you wanted to pack his fudge. Did you wave or wink?

by the say he was a guy in his 40s or 50s i believe with his wife on the passenger seat.

Think about if you were in your G35.. and you rolled up on some dude in a G35 and like... wanted to talk. He'd probably think your gay Thats how some EVO owners are. Theyre just in a car they bought that they like and you being in one too doesnt make you any more significant to them. Thats who you encountered... "that guy"

I myself always give props and say hello to a fellow EVO owner

Thats a pretty crappy analogy. Grand-Ams are a dime a dozen and not just that, theyre really suk, like bad. I do understand your point, but I think your missing the big point. A lot of guys with EVO's (not all) are enthusiasts and when they see another, they might just wanan share some of that enthusiasm and excitement of driving the same car with a fellow owner who probably also appreciates it. Also, most people who own EVOs are within a 10 year age range, most oftenly male and in reality, love the car!

i argee with the thread maker, whenever i see an evo on the road i usually give a honk, wave or i flash the headlights and i get reponse back. i dont always shoot the **** with but yea its somewhat a courteous thing to do. then again us south floridaians somewhat have that southern hospitality thing going on.

this happen to me too. Driving my car and some idiot in a ford escort trys to get my attention. I say whats up and he says he has an evo too. I thought that was cool until he starts to brag his car is the $hits. He was saying that his car was in the mag and was sponsored by road raceing engineering. I also heard this guy blew his motor a few times. He was bragging to a guy I knew that he put in a Jdm motor and removed his steel roof and installed the aluminum one. and was pushing 40psi . I just hate those guys brag. I guess they have to make there cars the biggest things in the world to cover up what is small in there life (you know what I mean)

You shouldnt get upset if he doesnt respond, and just because he doesnt put down his window or pull over just to talk to you doesnt mean he thinks hes better than you.
