boost help - guage more so than boost

Okay, so today driving to work everythings fine no problems, gauge is reading accurately... I get off work and start it up.. its stuck at zero. Any idea what happened? I can tell the car is still spooling and working correctly, but there seems to be a connection gone haywire.

As long as the turbo is spooling, just check the connections on the line of the boost gauge, and if they are all good, check the guage

There is a few way to T-shoot the issue, but first of all lets narrow it down, you car shouldn't be stuck at 0 because the gauge also read vacuum, so my question is, are you reading vacuum at all?

Try to start your car and observe the gauge, it should read vacuum when you start the car then it read zero whenver you turn it off.

I think that youtr problem is that your boost line got disconnected. If this is the case, then trace it all the way to were it was connected .

You can also blow the line with your lungs, if you are helathy you should be able to boost 2-4 psi by blowing.

If that does not work then your gauge is bad.

I hope that helps.

All is well again, I found the issue this morning, since I could not hear anything I assumed it was not the connection to the gauge itself, so I poped the hood and sure enough the hose had come apart from the T-Connection. Fixed that while the car was warming up, aside from that I'm actually happy with my autometer so far, dispite any positive/negative things I've heard about them.

MonsterEVOO - In response to how I like the helix, Its definately a great exhaust system. When choosing I wanted something that would look good, had minimal bends, was full 3" and had no resonator, not to mention you can't beat the price... so there i was.

also sine the addition of the dc downpipe/cat delete it makes it all the better
