Called Mitsu today and

Asked the lady in customer service if they were offering really low interest rates on the Evolutions, and she did not know She told me to contact a local dealer for more info.
So my question is how low did you guys get on your rates? And is Mitsu offering any good deals on the 9?

i'm not sure how mitsu works but when i purchased my suby they went to several companies they were affiliated with to get me a decent apr. i would assume that mitsu would do the same.

check your credit score, find what other people are getting with similar scores, go to the dealer and tell them that you want a specific apr based on your research.

Have you tried eloan or Capitol One autofinancing?

They aren't just going to tell you the rates. For one because it depends on your credit score and finances. For 2, because the dealer marks them up to make money. best bet is to find a credit union or something online like eloan. Then you have a rate and can eventually ask the dealer to beat it.

I say eventually because if you don't finalize everything before hand with sales price and whatnot, they will keep working the "how much do you want to spend / month?" bs where it gets hard to figure out what you are actually paying for everything.

be careful though because too many loan offices checking your score will lower it. in my unprofessional opinion you don't need to get a rate from someone before you go to mitsu.

you tell them what you want with good reasoning behind your decision and if they come back higher then leave. you don't lose anything by NOT purchasing the car.
