i put the bg in about an hour ago. last week i took the res. pill out and put in a ss line. the clutch felt ten times better and the trans shifted smoother. I had no complaints at all in the shifting department from new it just got better with the upgrades . the car shifted smooth as glass up, down shifting in any gear or gears so i really didnt think i would feel much if any a difference in the transmission or the shifting from the BG syncroshift but i cant believe the difference. It now shifts much smoother and precise. i took it for a little spirited jaunt and a little easy backroad driving doing a lot of up and downshifting and the difference is truely like day aqnd night. Put this stuff in your EVO guys and girls.

I thought we're not suppose to use the BGII?
But anyways...I used BGI, and it feels awesome...but during cold shifts, it's still notchy. But still good stuff.
I'm moving on to Syncromesh next just for a try.

THE CAR SAT ALL NIGHT WHEN I GOT IN THIS MORNING I DIDNT LET IT WARM UP , WANTED TO SEE HOW IT WOULD SHIFT WHEN COLD. SHIFTED SMOOTH AS GLASS AS IF WERE ALREADY WARMED UP AND GOT EVEN SMOOTHER WHEN WARMED UP. I CANT SEE THIS CAR SHIFTING ANY BETTER WITH ANY OTHER TRANS. FLUID, WOULDNT EVEN CONSIDER TRYING ANYTHING ELSE. I USED REDLINE IN MY 03 AND THE bg IS TEN TIMES BETTER. I,M NOT KNOCKING ANY OTHER FLUID OUT THERE I JUST FOUND SOMETHING THAT WORKS FANTASTIC AND I,M STICKING TO IT. YOUR DEFINETELY RIGHT ABOUT THE SHIFTER BUSHINGS I HAD A bm short shifter with the metal bushings on the shifter and under hood and it was like day and night. nice and stiff with rifle bolt accuracy, will probably be doing it to my IX in the near future. and as far as the eleven comment dont sweat it brother no big deal i would,ve said the samething
I got my BG Syncroshift II from Mach V....well they r local to me but u guys can order from their website or call them...

I Put In The Speed Source Brass Underhood Bushings A Week Ago And It Shifts Even Better Now. Next The Bm Short Shifter(adj.)with The Aluminum Bushings Like I Had On My 03 8.

I will probably never get a short shifter, but let me know how the shifter base bushing feel. I knew the underhood set would help big time, I am just not sure how much additional play can be taken out by switching the base set. I guess at only $30 or $40 bucks why not?
