probably a dumb question but i have en evo 6 lost the stock ecu and im running a ralliart sportcomp now im looking to get the car inspected and i was wondering if an evo 8 stock ecu would work to run my car and pass inspection any help????????

 

I don't think the ECU on the Evo 6 will just fit right in, perhaps a extensive software methamorphosis must be done at least..

i live in ny thats why i need to do this my car has the obdll or some sort of port in the dash that they plugged into and tryed to read the car but nothing came up with this ecu

 

Post up on www.lancerregister.com and I bet you can find a TME ECU if you can''t find one in the US.
