Yep, I've seen it before.

 

Cool...I havent seen it before. Actually I havent seen any evo commercials. I was wondering why Mitsu didnt advertise thier best car.

 

Coool video! Wish they showed something like that over here in the states I do remember an Evo commercial but it was more tailored to the F&F crowd, I believe...

Cool! I guess they don't advertise cars that people are gonna buy, one way or the other. They have to advertise cars that can't sell themselves.

I truly believe, to sell cars. this video falls well short of the mark and I realize it is at least a year or two old.

In this high tech world, the video should be showcasing the various technological speed (power, handling, AWD, driving sensation) aspects of this unique vehicle.

I have recently seen Acura TL commercials and the radio and navigation system is what they tout. The actual car is inconsequential but finding the nearest Burger King or calling someone, hands free, is paramount.

It's all a matter of what buying group they are trying to reach. Marketing.

That was great. Thanks for posting. I think I saw an Evo commercial one time ever on Tv. I don't understand why Mitsu doesn't actually try and take an active roll in selling this car in the U.S.

 

That was great first evo commercial i have ever seen.

 

BEcause its not their best selling car.

 

I have actually heard that manufacturers wont advertise if the car sells. The evo, unlike some other mitsu's sells. There isnt a need to spend millions on advertising in the us because the car is evidently selling itself. Only sports cars i actually ever see advertised is the Z and american cars, sports cars are just the best. I had never seen that commercial so it definatly was entertaining to see.

 

the reasoning behind no commercials is..
one: Under ten thousand EVO's get sold in america.
two: EVO's are a niche market, where the only people who buy them are people who know what they are buying.
Three: The EVO doesnt need commercials, because of its performance, it sells its self.
