Project Evo VII now underway

I decided to get rid of my Evo VI to modify my Evo VII.

Our plan is to create the "perfect" street monster on the drag strip, the circuit, and the streets. Here are the list parts and scope of work:

Parts:
JUN 2.2 Stroker kit
(inclusive of Cosworth pistons, JUN conrods, JUN crankshaft)
JUN camshaft kit
(inclusive 272int/ex cams, cam gears, valve retainers, valve springs)
Tomei main studs
Tomei head bolts
Tomei crank studs
HRS ex manifold
HRS 80mm titanium exhaust
HKS GT3240 turbine
HKS wastegate
HPI FMIC (for GT-R)
Bosch dual 280lph fuel pumps
Sard 1000cc fuel injectors
Sard fuel feed lines
Tomei timing belt
HKS Fcon V-pro
HKS twin DLI
Greddy Profec B
HKS spark plugs
Holinger dog-change kit
OS giken clutch
JUN lightened flywheel
Cusco front and rear LSD
Tein Super damper
Apexi turbo timer
HKS manual boost controller
Red Line motor oil

Scope of work:
Full engine overhaul
Full race engine prep
Engine balancing
Port and polish
EMS tuning and programing
dyno testing

My Jap mechanic told me he may extract more than 650whp from this set-up while maintaining great street-driving factor. He was a former mechanic of Bozzspeed Japan and has decided to come and stay in Philippines since his wife is Filipina.

I will keep this sthread updated depending on my work schedule. Just to keep u guys updated, add me AIM is rawandbruteEVO

Some new parts:

Hiroshi was suggesting to use a motec m600 instead of the Vpro, so im quite considering that option. lets see first how much power the car will make on the Vpro.

Other new parts:
Tomei head gasket
HRS Racing surge tank
HKS fuel rail
Project MU 6-caliper brakes and rotors

The HPI intercooler measures as big as the HKS but somewhat bigger. the bumper of the VII may hav e to be trimmed in this case.

Its really hard to communicate with my Jap mechanic but good thing I got a translator. Damn, he even brings a calculator and computes everything when I suggest something... not the money ok but the specs.
