How about a new member squad called Enthusi8ters! (focus on facts and information)
Although I am still fairly new, I thought about a group of enthusiast, similiar to the truth squad, that would focus on the facts of vehicles. This group would focus on the facts of Evos and other car comparisons. I don't consider myself an expert, but I do spend alot of my free time reading about vehicles and comparisons. I think it's great to get opinions, but a group focused on facts, backed up by articles or references would be a great help. Often, Evom is flooded with ridiculous comments about vehicles with members who obviously have no clue about the facts. I know many do it for fun or to be silly (yeah, I've done my silly post too), but when someone is trying to really get information about a vehicle or comparison, they are forced to sort through the factless bashings, verbal assaults, and sorry, but just plain ignorance. As truth squad basis there information on modification, this group would focus on general evo and other car comparisons, and back it up with references. Maybe this group would be the focus of information when a new thread is started and serious readers would be able to sort through the bull.
I would recomend that this group back up their facts when posted, provide new articles and noteworthy news, post first hand experience with vehicles and give advice on general knowledge. For example, everyone is talking about insurance, rather than the few people who have contributed links to "real" information, members must sort through pages of meaningless junk (like telling what they pay, with no indicaiton of accidents, if it went up, or basically any useful information). I may have posted "useless" stuff also, but it would be the goal of this group to focus on steering threads on track, redirecting newbies to exisiting threads, and providing facts and information.
It would also be helpful to have some of the "Enthusi8ters" focus on a speciality, how about a member identifing they work in insurances, DMV, law, or other specialities that would be benificial to members. I don't want to bad mouth Evom, just hard to sort through loads of garbage to get information. Just a though from this crazy hillbilly.
