I have cruise control on my Evo. It is made by Rostra. It cost $300 to have it installed by a stereo place. It works okay.

I recommend turning off your boost controller if you have an EBC for best results. There is a tendency for the car to "hunt" for the correct speed at higher speeds. I try to set the cruise while going down hill or on a slope. It makes it easier. Once it is set, it should be okay until you hit an upward slope or hill. Then the car will start hunting for the correct speed again.

I have made 2 cross country trips with it and it does help a lot, but it is not nearly as good as I had hoped.

 

Bought my cruise from a local car audio/accessory place. $300 installed and has been working fine for 2 years.
