Stopped by Mitsubishi dealer today

Well I went over to a dealer near my house today since I have not heard from them in like a month about a used Evo. The 2 guys I talked to before were not there today so I talked to another guy. I told him about what I was looking for(used 03/04) and he said it would be around the 22K price range which I was expecting. Anyways he said give him 3 days to look for a used one and see what he can find. He said if he can't find one, how about getting me into a new one. That would be nice but alittle out of my range.

He showed me one that was on the show floor. It was black w/ leather but no sunroof. I thought that if it had leather it was part of the SSL package Anyways I asked him about rebates but he said there were no rebates at this time on Evos . I was like no loyalty or anything, plus I'm taking college classes again so that would be a rebate also(student). Sounds like he'll come down...sticker said 31,9xx....and before I left he mentioned 30K price so I don't know. He's going to call me and if no used Evo he'll talk numbers with me on a new one.

Well I just wanted to tell you guys so I'll see what happens

Regular IX has leather on the seat bolsters, but the middle parts are Alcantara (faux, but super-nice) suede. The SSL seats are all leather on their fronts, they have leather panels on the doors, and the front center armrest is covered in leather. And the side rear seats have removable, tiltable headrests. The rear cupholder / armrest unit is different, too.

^Yeah mark is the shiznit at SC mitsu. And I say that cause he really is! I bought my car from SC mitsu and they are al about customer satisfaction. The owner is nothing but the best and that resonates all throughout his employees.

30 grand is way too much for a new evo without ssl. SC MITSU can get you into a brand new evo 9 without ssl for 28grand.

i'd highly suggest if u get an evo to got through the fleet/internet department if they have one. U are more likley to get the car close to invoice. reason being is the sales people have to get commision, while the internet guys, although selling the car much lower, still make money on the money that the mitsu gives the dealeship for moving a unit (car).
I used to sell cars up until last november, and the internet guys would sell the cars at unbeleivable prices.

Yes he does. Let me enlighten you guys for a minute. This dealer has anywhere between 50-70 evos in stock on their lot. I know cause I have been there many times and I got my car there. When I went there to pick up my car they had 30 evo 9s alone.

Please take one home and Mark I better get a cut for helping your a$$ out hahahahha.

They dont care if you are in freaking zimbabwe. They will ship the car too you. They will prep it for shipping and everything. And the best thing is you pay your sales tax cause cali tax is crazy.

True......If I end up going new this is something I'll have to look into. Also look into the shipping price.
