Oh yeah, My g/f's brand new 06 WRX TR got a door ding in SF @ 2500 miles a couple weeks after she bought it in Sep. '05. She used DentPro, can't even find where it used to be and cost was 70$ because she had the guy come to her work.

Yeah you should be able to take care of that for less than 100$. It just sucks that it had to happen in the first place.

Oh MAN... damm that sux. I remember when I bought my brand new 2000 civic si Electron blue back in June of 2000. Man was i happy. (my first nice looking car) I was 18 years old. I got my first ding at school and i cant tell you how Angry i was. I always wanted to catch the person in the act, but never did. I had a total of 10 dings on my passanger side and 2-3 on the driverside. At 18 years old and barely paying car note/insurance payments was able to save enough to get the body damage fixed. I was warming my car after a movie one saturday night when a girl and her man parked right next to me. She opened her door and hit my recently fixed body panel. I mean it was so but so hard! I get out and comfronted her but she literaly ate me alive with words, not to mention her man was ready to bring me down. They went in the theater. I stayed in my car furious. I got out, opened my trunk graved my crowbar and smash her windshield in. I know, i know that was not the way i should of reacted. I felt bad afterwards but I was at a peak point at that moment. Years passed and I realized that a car is just a car and S**t happens. I know my Evo will not be scratch free forever, so i expect it anytime. I sure as hell will not react like i did back then.
by the way sorry for the long reply folks.

I always park in BFE in public lots! I think that it actually happened at work, I can't be sure though. I'm thinking that it was either the copy machine repair man or a delivery person. I'm pretty sure that everyone else would be more careful if for no other reason than my name being on the building.

I'll go to a paintless dent place next week, everytime I walk by the car all I see is the stupid ding.

And Clos 13, I completely understand where your comming from, but next time hit the person not the car. LOL

Got my first ding within the first 1000 miles. Needless to say I left a drawing on the guys door with my Keymarker. Luckily the dealer sprayed the door cause when i got the car there were 3 deep small scratches on it. So they repaired the whole door and sprayed it over.

When I confronted her she got all pissed saying I was parked too close to her car and she couldn't get out. Mind you, there were plenty of parking spaces around and she could of parked in another space. I told her to go on a f****in Jenny Craig diet.
So, did you do a tap dance on her hood and say, hey, you parked your car where I always do my give me the money dance?
I always park way the hell away from stores etc. The really old, fat, and ones with kids don't want to walk that far. Sometimes I drop the wife off at the door and meet her inside.
