well, went to track today and did OKAY i suppose. i have the exedy twin hd and have the 2 step flash from AL. launching at 13lbs of boost plus the new cluth=1st gear whining noise during deceleration. 1st gear had enough i think. now i prolly need to send the tranny to shep or tre. aaahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just put a Exedy Twin Disc HD on my car 3 weeks ago and I lost in some areas like:

1) My car is slower on the 60' now
2) My car shakes and bounces up and down when launching(never had that issue with stokecr clutch)
3)The clutch is very hard and it has a tendency to stall..there is no shade of gray, it is either black or white..

it doesnt do it in any other gear during deceleration except for 1st

 

i have the same exact sympton's except for #1. i cut my fastest 60ft today once and that was the extent of it. when i pulled up to a light i heard a slight clunking noise when i coasted to a stop in 1st gear. frickin sucks!!!!!!!!!!

 

the only thing i hated about the excedy twin in my 03(nonHD) was the decel noise and vibration. but i had it in every gear, only during decel. nothing you can do about it , its the nature of the beast
