Headlight Problem Oh gosh.

Ok... Here's the story. Evo sustains a low speed impact with something wood and very skinny. ( not a tree ) Headlight low beam is not working. The glass lense in front of the low beam is cracked very slighty around the edge. You know, the part that looks like an eyeball. The High beam works fine. Headlight assembly is still sealed and not cracked. I went and got the frame checked out and its fine... I just need a new headlight and some paint. So I got to Renner Mitsubishi Parts to order one up, and they're Backordered for 2 months apparently. I "wouldnt see the part til at least may" says the girl in parts. Even the other 2 guys said my best bet would be looking on the boards. I am looking for a NON- HID assembly anyones looking to get rid of. must be working. Or even if someone knows how to open these up and replace the lens and ballast or whatever... Thx

Are you looking for a replacement bulb? I have two bulbs with the housing I removed a while back off a broken headlight assembly. I don't have the Evo at home now to check which one is which. One has a black tip and the other one is clear. They should be working fine as I see the filements inside are intact.

Let me know if you can use one. You can have it for free. If you are from the bay area picking up will be easier.

i need the thing that holds the low beam bulb. the entire socket part and the metal cylindrical tube behind it. thats for fixing it.

OR i just need an entire new assembly.
I need a whole, entire, working passenger side headlight. the whole thing.
