Why does my EVO waste alot of antifreeze??

I have noticed my antifreeze resorviore runs out every 2 weeks. I have checked for leaks in alot of places but no signs. What else can cause this besides a leak?

let the car idle with the cap off. let it run until the fan comes on about twice while
topping it off to get all the air out of the system. if you still have problems you could have a blown head gasket.
Is it overheating?

no external leaks sounds like a head gasket. chek your oil and see what color it is.

Also, if it is the head gasket...you'll have a bit of steam coming out of the oil cap hole with a hint of coolant smell.

How do you check if the head gasket is out? I've lost a good amount of coolant recently and I think it might be the head gasket.

I agree, could be a blown head gasket or even worst... CRACKED HEAD! Have you noticed any white smoke (steam) coming out of your tail pipe? Also check your oil to see if the coolant is not mixing with your oil (usually looks like a caramel syrup), a definate sign that you have a blown gasket. I used to work at a machine shop and Mitsu's 2.4L heads were notorious for cracking. Im not to sure about the 4G63 heads though. Run down to your local parts store and pick up a compression tester (usually between $40.00 to $60.00) and check your compression in each cylinder. If two side by side cylinders register with low compression (usually below 80lbs) you have a blown head gasket. If only one cylinder (or more, possibly even side by side) register with low pressure... CRACKED HEAD! A good mechanic could check your pressure also, but depending on your area, they can charge a minimum of $75.00 an hour. Most shops usually charge an hour and a half to two hours for this diagnostic check. Hope this helps.

My oil looks clean when i check it. After about 3k miles it gets a little darker wich i think is normal. My old car had a blown head gasket and the oil turned almost into butter. My car never overheats and shows no rising temperatures on the gauge when i race. My wife drove behind me once and i WOT, she said white smoke comes out of the muffler. I have seen many evos with white smoke coming out when they do dynopulls. Is it hard to replace the headgasket? Do the cams have to be removed? If it was a cracked head or gasket, have i been losing power all this time?
By the way, I have pulled out my radiator out about 4 times to do turbo swaps and other stuff. Could there be an air bubble in there?

actually mine is more like grey smoke could be too much blow by or something who knows.. it does smell like oil tho i will say that. I have since put a catch can on it but havent had the chance to really drive with it on being that I am ripping the car apart to put my new setup on. Hopefully that will solve the problem

let it run till the fan kicks about two times.
if you get alot of constant little bubles after fan kicks its probably the
HEAD GASKET
