This was posted on one of the Subaru sites I visit, have any of you Evo owners heard about this....



I was recently informed that Defi issued a recall on some of their gauges...i beleive that most of you guys here prolly have the BF ambers, but heres the recal info anyways...

Check your gauges for your serial numbers...
warranty card info
043011C (ターボ計) boost
045011C (燃圧計) Fuel pressure
046011C (油温計) oil temp
047011C (水温計) water temp
048011C (排気温度計) EGT
050011C（コントロールユニットの番号） control unit
If you do not have the warranty card check the back of your gauge. If you have a BF white series gauge from 2001 that does NOT have a serial number on the back you have one of the recall gauges. These gauges have been known to overheat and start fires.

Contact DEFI-USA if you have one of the recall gauges.

WOW i did not know that see i have 3 DEFI 52mm gauges.... and YES their white....but i have had them for a while now but have had no problems at ALL no heat problems or anything, maybe it has to do with the idiot that wired it up in the car lol!!! anyways i lve mine, but thatks for the info its always good to know about these things ahead of time to tell friends about.....
