License plate lamp/rear side markers out

Since they are all out......I am thinking a blown fuse. I've been looking in the owners manual and can't figure out which fuse. Any help is appreciated!

try looking at the fuse box in your engine bay. underneath the cover of the fuse box should be a list of what each fuse is. if not, you might have to find a fuse diagram for the fuse box under your dash. OR, the main plug that connects the side markers and plate lights all together is disconnected.

Nothing under the hood or in the manual in regards to the fuse for the license plate/side markers in general.

Tried different bulbs and nothing. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what they did to remedy it. I tried a search already and came up with nothing.

I know sometimes one fuse controls a couple of different things....but everything else works. I know they worked at one point......I had them on after I installed a license plate frame.

I am stumped....and I really don't want to pull out every fuse to see if it is any of them.

Check every single fuse inside the car and under the hood. One of them is blown. Trust me. Just check and replace the blown fuse.

My heater, front yellow markers, third brake light, speedo light and tach light all don't work. I have replaced fuses and nothing works. I am about to go to the dealer if I can't get suggestions off Evom...

Kinda sucks but in cases like these you really just need to start tracing the wiring down to the problem. Take a digital multimeter and first measure the voltage across the postive and negative of the bulbs (to make sure you are indeed getting 0 volts). Eventually you will find out where the wires lose power. Have fun

Did you ever figure-out what was causing this? I'm having a similar problem - driver's side tail, both rear side markers, and license plate lights all out.

I have a sinking suspicion that it's a bad 3rd brake light, but haven't had a chance to inspect yet. Please let me know. Thanks.

Finally had a few minutes today to diagnose the problem. For me it was just a blown fuse - "Tail light (left)". Apparently the license plate lights and rear side markers are wired in series with the left tail light.

For reference, the fuse in question is No. 21 in the fuse block under the hood - it's a 7.5A mini fuse (brown). There is a full diagram and table in the owner's manual on pages 7-36 & 7-37. Hope this helps.
