Yea I just spent 310 dollars on two tires and I still love my Evo. Moreover, my clutch is gone at 8,500 miles and I still love my Evo. I plan on buying a stage threee clutch next month, and I still love this car almost to death.

P.S. cost of clutch and install $650. yyea

Love the Evo even more now that the weather is getting warmer and I can open the windows and hear the exhaust, and less of the transmission whine and tire roar!

I love this car so much that I drive it at least 100 miles a day. I've owned my 05 RS for five months now and i put 13,500 miles on it and I dont feel one bit bad about it. I bought this car to drive it and enjoy it, not to have it sittin in my garage!!

I had a 350z before and I didn't like it nearly as much as I like my evo.

Anyone live in SoCal? Well anyway, for those who do, I just took my new EVO IX through Ortega Highway (74) and went to the top of the mountain (going east) then turned around at some bar or rest stop at the top, and F*CKIN BLASTED ALL THE WAY BACK, OMG!!!!!!!!!

Both hands on the wheel! I love coming around a corner and then punchin' it when you start to come out of it, throws you back in your seat.

My first post on Evo.net...................

Im a long time Nissan guy who currently owns an Altima SE with minimal mods. Its a respectable straight line car doing high 13s and trapping around 100 but the damn thing handles like a boat despite suspension mods. I had a SPEC-V with full Nismo suspension back a couple of years ago....handling was the **** but with full bolt on's still only a high 14 second car.

Lately Ive been dropping the hint to the wife about getting an RS Evo. Sorry guys but Im 45 and the tail, while cool enough just, doesnt do it for me.

Could somebody give me the skinny on best possible price for an RS new (Im assumming the IX offers an RS edition) Or is it possible to get ahold of a leftover VIII at this point? Am I going to get bludgeoned to death on insurance? Id be looking at the urban jungle package btw.......................

Anyway........please not too much heavy flaming to the noob but any info on cost, payments/month and insurance would be great....................
