Tyrant CF Vortex Generator Fitment Issues...

While installing my Tyrant CF VG today I ran into several fitment problems. Where it's supposed to lay under the water guard on the drivers side there was a significant amount of extra resin on the inside of the VG that took nearly 2 hours to sand away...then once I finally got clearance there I noticed that the area where the radio antenna housing sits was grabbing and causing the VG to "float" on the rear...back to the store to get some more sand paper and spent about another hour sanding and rounding out the inside of the VG to fit properly. I'm fairly happy with the end result but for $300 through evomoto.com would have hoped for a much better fit. Is this just a problem I've had or do these generally require some modification for fitment to be satisfactory?

most aftermarket parts i've bought for my vehicles over the years have required some modification to fit properly. I've come to expect that any third party cosmetic part will need some extra work. Nothing beats OEM when it comes to proper fit.
