car sticking after wash
Do any of yall experience the car not wanting to move the next morning after your car as dried from a wash. I'm assuming it's the tires sticking to the ground. This happens everytime I wash my car and i'm just curious to what it was. I'm sure it's harmless.
I am aware what date it is and i'm being serious. I mean to get the car to move after it has dried, I have to apply a little more gas and then you hear it kind of pop and then i'm on my way. This has happaned since the first time I washed my car 2 years ago.

It's the rotors sticking. You might notice they get a light coat of rust overnight after a wash. First movement jars them loose, first braking scrubs them clean.
What ever you do, don't wash your wheels or brakes after a drive. They are too hot and should be allowed to cool down. The rotors can be warped with cold water and harsh cleaning solvents can peel your clearcoat on the brembos.

Mine does the samething, usually notice it more when it rains then sets overnight. I agree that it is the brakes, however, I usually don't set the E brake after a rain, just leave it in gear. I mentioned this during my last service. They cleaned the brakes and adust the E brake. After the first rain, same thing again! Must be the type of pads becuase this is the first car I have ever had to do this.

picked my car up from the body shop today after it had sat in the same spot since friday and i had the same problem. took a lot more gas than usual to move it. its got to be the pads sticking. its a little unnerving at first but its happened to me more than once. no big deal.
