...what makes the noise increases?
Hey, everyone I got an off the wall question. I'm trying to figure out what causes the most noise, as your rpm increases? Is it the trany, front diff, or engine? I noticed when I drive my EVO normaly, and shift at around 3k-3.5k, the car is nice and quiet. But as soon as I give it a little gas, and go to 5k or more, the car gives off alot of mechanical noise. And I'm not sure what the cause is, sometimes I think its the front diff, and other time I think I'm hearing the engine make so much more noise

No real reason for this post, I was just curious.

 

My guess would be the engine?
