has anyone found any pods that aren't the screw on type, but actually REPLACE the stock pillar? i've got the lotek dual pod from vivid racing and i'm not all that happy with the fitment...

no i don't think they make one yet, but you can make the lotek look like a stock apillar. just carefully cut the tweeter cover, cut or drill holes on the lotek for the souns to come through. then take the tweeter cover and super glue it on the lotek covering up the holes. if you want it to look stock go and get some dye and dye both apillars the same color

yeah I did all that, just not happy with the way it's gripping the stock piece underneath is all. i just wish they made something that snapped in place like the stocker...

i hear you on that, mine keeps falling off i need to use bigger screws. did you take the apillar off and attach the lotek to it, or did you just place it over and screw it down

Placed it over to where we thought it was good, marked the holes, then took it off and drilled out some pilot holes. Then mounted the stock piece, put the pod up against it and screwed it on... Just seems like it's coming loose or something as I can push on it now. It's still solid and doesn't wiggle, but looks kinda ghetto.
