I have to agree about Poway. Those guys aren't very nice. I walked in for a test drive and they promptly pointed me toward an Eclipse. I told them that I'm not going to buy a car I have not driven, although I had driven plenty of them previously. Regardless of what I said they continued to pester me about talking numbers.

Now normally your thinking, ok, maybe I got a snot bag for a salesman. Well my friends, I spoke with three (3) people there, and they were like robots. It's all about the magical numbers! In any event, I went down to Mitsu in El Cajon to give them my business instead. They were very nice about offering me a test drive, but did not have anything in stock I was interested in.

Now I've never been to South Coast, but I did speak with them on the phone and they were extremely helpful and pleasant to work with.

I ended up buying at Tustin. They have at least 8 Brand new Evos on the lot, 4 of them MR. Quite the picture. They were very curtious, and after ram-rodding me on the trade in, as one would expect, we came to an agreement. They were very helpful and willing to do almost anything to close the deal. I might mention that I stopped by last Friday the 31st, last day of the month, about 1 hour before closing. Perhaps that is why they were so willing to deal???

In any event, if your in SD or Orange co. you will want to check with South Coast or Tustin first. Just my $0.02.

That is the best time to buy a car. When I was a salesman for Honda, we would do anything at the last minute. We were selling cars below invoive to squeeze in that last sale. I remember working till midnight for the last sales.

Nice to see a dealership bend over backwards for you, instead of bending you over backward.
