I am getting an Alky kit, but I was curious if I needed to get tune before I turn up the boost. I am trying to hold 25psi with the SMC kit. Al dynoflashed my car already for intake and stuff, just wondering if I need another tune to adjust A/F.

Also, if I run Alky, what is the highest boost I can run on the stock wastegate before I need to upgrade the actuator?

Of course you do, you crazy nut!!!! Do you have any idea what alky does? Your car won't even hardly run with the alky activated and no retune. You can't even get a mail-in; it has to be a custom tune. That's ok, though, because Al is coming to Atlanta in May. You can run any boost you want on the stock actuator. It will not limit you.

 

Definately! Even in the hands of a bad tuner which was my first experience until Martin worked his magic, they were not able to tune the car correctly. DEFINATELY get a custom tune by somebody who knows what they are doing. It's makes a world of difference.
