hi guys, I just bought a EVO 8 and i haven't gotten it yet, but what size of speakers does it have in the front and rear , because i was thinking of taking the factory speakers out and putting some after market ones in ....but what do you guys think?? i also want to put subwoofers in too ....let me know what you guys think!!

 

If I'm right that they're the same speakers as the US Lancer..then they're 6 1/2 oversized front and back.. You can make 6 3/4 or 6 1/2 fit. I replaced mine right away and suggest it highly. Go Infinity Kappa Perfects or Boston Acoustics...I got high end pioneers cause they had the biggest frequency range..but if you're gettin subs, get some premium compononents.

 

so all 6 speakers are 6 1/2 front rear and are there any on the doors? are there any tweeters?

 

yeah there are tweeters in the a pillars. Search for it lots of people have replaced their speakers and have mentioned brands and sizes.

U can always to to crutchfield.com to find out on sizing of the speakers. However i'd advise buying wireing harness and etc from crutchfield and but the reciver and speaker where it's cheapest.
