Smile Evo - good for the environment

Don't know if this has been covered before. I searched the web and i found the site for the Cali Air Resources Board. I found out the Evo is classified as a "Super Ultra Low Emmissions Vehicle"

How about that huh ??

If you use the sites search function - it's under "A - 086 - 0277" ...... that's the executive order number.

I was talking with my local Vegas dealer and the salesman ( chris - a moron ) said he wouldn't consider getting a car from cali because of the emissions regulating stuff and you would lose 30 - 40 hp. I thought that was bullsh*t so i called Mark @ south coast mitsu about it and he said that was BS. I thought i was supposed to work tonight but i don't have to now. I'm going down to the local dealer tonight and if they can't give me a IX for like 26,9xx ( in order to beat SC's deal ) - in June... i'm coming to see Mark.

269xx?!!!! That is less than most dealers pay for the IX... I have friends that work for dealerships and I have seen invoices... I love how everybody wants to buy an EVO for next to nothing but also wants to keep it in that "semi-rare" category... lol... No common sense what so ever

Dude - relax.

All i'm saying is that if this dealership in Vegas wants my business, they are going to have to give me the car at that price to beat South Coast. I've done my homework on this one and SC mitsu beats this dealership by $2k.

If they want my business - they're going to have to work for it.
