you know what I drive so slow my Evo doesn't even boost.

Does that change any thing???

I really want to know if it stresses out my clutch!!

I looked at the ACT street plate on lancershop.com I might go with that one for the price and all.

Oh really not bad man $424 to the door. How does it feel to the stock clutch??

Is it a lot stranger??

The ACT clutch is strong, but it does have some issues as far as drivability, including the occasional 7k lock out, etc. There are a few posts from myself, and warrtalon, about the issues that occured. They were all resolveable by moving the clutch pedal out as far as possible, but its a very different driving position then you would be used too.

I have the ACT clutch that I purchased from prostreetonline for 450 shipped.

I don't think anyone beats that price, so you should check them out IMO.

People will also say not to resurface the flywheel, but I did it and I've been going strong for thousands of miles without a problem.

You know, I bought a flywheel from Mach V and you can just unscrew the friction surface off and put on a brand new one. It's way cheaper than buying a whole new flywheel, and way easier and better then resurfacing or turning or whatever...

You really are better off just spending the money and getting a twin plate Exedy. If you shop around, you can find them for as little as $1200. In the words of my clutch install guy, "If you dont get it now, youll wish you did when I am swapping your third clutch" The clutch is smooth as silk, pedal pressure is light, and its easy to drive.
