I would actually feel better buying an Evo with a lot of miles than not. Why? A car with few miles on it means it's a toy fun car / track *****. Lots of miles means DD. I'd much rather own a car that the owner drove on the freeway all the time (out of boost a lot, low load on engine) than a car that was taken out to the twisties every weekend.

45k, bought it new 3 years ago...now it's for sale. It seems like this engine will hold up for a lot of miles.

and here i come to make all of you feel better about yourselves.

2006 EVO IX MR

Purchased: October 22nd, 2005

currently sitting at 106,120 miles.

yes, that's 106 THOUSAND miles. Daily driven, autocrossed at every opportunity, and driven hard for no reason other than the joy of driving. Still going strong.
