hallman boost controller question

hallman boost controller question

Hey guys i just have a simple question when i was changin out my spring in my boost controller i forgot which way the little ball thing went back in. DOes it go in before the spring or after? I cant remember thanks guys\

It goes in in such a manner as to allow the spring to put pressure against the ball on the positive-pressure side of the controller.

I believe he was referring to my purely mechanical response. I have never seen a Hallman boost controller, but all mechanicals work in the same manner. Not knowing which part is installed "first", I gave a response based on the theoretical design of such a device.

Was my response incorrect?

spring first, ball then screw the nozzle without the little hole. i just tore mine apart yesterday.

No, it wasn't incorrect. Actually, I thought it was kind of funny because you gave the *very* technical operating parameters of a boost controller.

I thought it was kind of funny because it seemed like you killed a fly with a nuclear bomb.
