Finally saw my first EVO

Are these getting old yet? I thought so.

I have an EVO myself, but I've not seen another one on the road in almost 4 weeks. Yesterday, it finally happened. I was driving in one direction, the EVO was heading the other. It was silver. What surprised me is that the car did not stand out in traffic like I expected it to. If not for the wing, I wouldn't have even noticed it heading the other way.

Oh well. Still looked nice and it was nice to finally see another one.

Dong, I saw the car heading eastbound on I70 just outside of Frederick, MD around 4PM on 04/08/2003. Were you up this way? It's a bit out of your home territory I think, but it's possible I suppose...

SC: My car is black, but I was driving the '95 GS-T yesterday.

Tom,
Nah, that wasn't me. I'm on 270 everyday, though. Another silver in MD, cool.... We should have a small get together, I hope.

no offend to Silver owners. The car itself does not stand out, i think its the color that helps. I think Silver Evo look great. However, its not as stand out as Yellow, Red, and Blue. I spotted the Yellow Evo from 2-3 blocks away.

Again, this is just my comments.

not me either... i think im the only silver w/ sunroof in area(correct me if im wrong).. I'm usually on 495 and 295, and in rockville on weekends.. speaking of which, I saw a yellow evo in rockville last saturday, around 11-12, near downtown rockville, i forget the street, the one that goes in front of regal cinemas.

Actually, I orderd a silver with sunroof from Ourisman, but decided to pass on it when the black showed up first. :-) A couple weekends ago, they had my original silver on the lot ready to go. I think it sold that week. Another guy by the name of Terry Glazar (owner of Extreme Motorsports) has one too, but he drove out to Oklahoma to get it. I know of two silvers, a yellow, and a blue...but haven't seen any of them on the street. This area actually has a good number of them. The numbers just aren't high enough yet to chance up on one all that often.

One of the reasons I got a silver is just that. I don't want to stand out in the crowd, especially when you're going FAST....

Hey Chan. Don't worry. You aren't going to offend anyone with that comment. There are a lot of people who want to blend in with the crowd around here....

I've never been good at blending into the crowd.....and my car reflects that, I guess.

SC~ whos Evo is yellow

I have had my car for 3+ weeks and have not seen any other Evo's yet. Mine is silver, and has only really been spotted by 2-3 people when i was driving. I would imagine smurf (daveyd )blue or yellow would certainly stand out more.
