I did the exact same thing. It only blocks the space where a stock guage "should" have been...

Thats perfect man- thats exactly what I was thinking!! I really like the placement of that gauge. On the left, it just doesnt look good- but yours being on the right doesnt get in the way of anything. I also really like how clean the install is with the wrapped wires going out the back and down into the steer column -- thanks for the pictures.

I also really like the idea of the boost gauge being in the dash. Anyone have an idea of how you would do this??

Also to answer sleet, if you find it so annoying then dont look at my post. Everyone else contributed something helpful and all you can do is break my ballz about not searching. GG troll.

Thanks!
I have this gauge pod in my IX and the gauge only blocks out the section of the speedo from 140-160 so if your worried about blocking that part of your speedo then this isnt for you. i can send you a pic of my setup later if you want

JaReDbOy,
I know you said you didn't like the Autometer but here are a few pics to show the how much of the speedo gets blocked. I took the pics as close to my true visibility as possible.

For what it's worth.

Thanks for the replies/pics guys!

Yea I see it only blocks 150-160 mph. Im not concerned so much about that as you commonly arent driving that speed, but I still didnt personally care for how it looks. If it were the same exact thing, but just on the rightside, Id like it better I think.

Now to come up with a way to replace that lancer in the dash..... hmmmmmm

The display is very small on that unit. Can you read all of the info on the screen while you are driving?

The info on the zeitronix screen is approximately the same size as the numbers found on your tach. Plenty big. The zeitronix also has peak hold as well.. which is nice.
