Please Help
I had to disconnect the front O2 sensor wires from the plug to get a closed end wrench around the sensor to remove it from the O2 housing. I did not think to write down which wires went where. Will someone please look at the connector (under the spark plug cover) and please tell me which wire goes where.
There is 2 black, 1 white, and 1 blue wire on the O2 sensor.
Below is a basic diagram of the face of the O2 plug if you are looking into it. This has male pins sticking out of it. I numbered them according to the Mitsubishi wire diagram. The " M " at the top is the locking portion of the plug. Please guide me as to which wire is in which location.
---M---
I O O I ---> 2 1
I O O I ---> 4 3
--------
1 =
2 =
3 =
4 =
Thank you.

Did you cut the wires? If you just unplugged the harness, it'll only snap in one way. If you really need to search for the thread with the evo wiring diagram.

I don't have a camera to take a picture.
As for the wires, I merely took them out of the plug. The pins are still firmly attached to the wires. Nothing was cut.
Please look at yours and tell me what wire is in what location. The 4 circles in my diagram are the pin locations as you look into the plug. Next to the diagram is a numbering system of the pin locations. Then below the diagram is a list of numbers that correspond to the numbering system of the pin location. Just put a color next to that number and I am all set.
Thanks again for any help you can provide.

Ever find the anwer? I did the same but cut them. I should have marked the blacks before hand and I did'nt... Now I have to solder them back and am not sure which black wire to connect to the other... I guess I have a 50% shot at it...
The sensor was stuck hard and I could not find a 22mm sensor socket... It was cut it and take the chance or get a new one... I just did'nt think before I cut...
