Well the car gets detailed once a month professionally, and I wash it once a week then use a quick detail spray. Maybe its the damn Hawaii sun lol who knows

Let me ask you this, what products does your detailer use? And what includes in the detail package and how much do you pay?

 

I was suppose to have my new wing in last Monday, but it still has not come in. They granted me the warrenty on my 03 and took pictures.

I wax mine at least once a week and it is just getting worse, new spots developing and now it is starting to get hazy on one side. 62 people is a lot to wait for that, guess I should get in line, haha

 

wow that is weird. I've had my car almost 2 years and only wax the wing when I do the car in the spring and fall and mine still looks like new. I'm gonna cross my fingers from now on.

 

It's a manufacturing flaw. Some are bad, some are good. Waxing can delay the deterioration some, but it's still inevitable if you got one of the bad ones.

 

I have been waiting for my 8 wing for months now, but as long as it is free and under warranty I can wait.

 

Zaino Z5/Z2 before you have a problem. Doesn't help you of course but it works wonders.

 

They denied my claim end of last year Im getting the paint stipped and the whole wing cleared to see all the carbon fiber right now.

 

Mistu released a service bulet saying that the weird wear or pealing of the paint is normal and not covered. Ill geta copy of it and post it.

 

I'm getting mine replaced under warranty. It's already been a month and they still don't know when it will be in

 

Well i got a letter in the mail from mitsu saying to pick up my wing that was ordered under warranty...

so i went yesterday first thing to pick up and let them install it for me with no charge...and den there was this $h!t "we can't do it" and i said "why" and dude said "its the wrong color" and i was like !@#$%...so now i'll have to wait again. I thought the wing was suppose to come pure carbon fiber, but the dealer said no. It seems like they didn't open the box until i got there. So i just wasted my time. Good luck for the other 60 something people waiting for there wing to come in, hope its the same color as your car.

I dont care to fight with Hawaii mitsu they will give me the run around. So I am gonna have a paint shop here just re-clear it.
