not sure if im in the right forum to ask this but i whould like to know some tecniques to launching my stock EVO without burning my clutch.
from a dead stop i get the rpms up as far as i can but ther seems to be a rev limit at 5000 rpm, and at this limit is starts to studder, it duznt want to die or get jumpy or anything like that but it just seems to want to take off. now is this normal? any help/ideas whould help alot.
i want to start moding my EVO but first i want to be able to out drive it first and launching my EVO is a must for me to get to this goal.

Go browse around in the Drag Racing and Driving Technique forums. There are a 1000 threads about launching, the (yes, normal) 5k launch limiter, and how to eliminate it.

First step to launching.................................

Get on the phone with a good vendor, and start getting some prices on clutches, lol. Your going to need it.
