Timed mt STOCK 2003 Evolution today

I timed my completely stock 2003 Lancer Evolution. Let me start off by saying people were in awe by it's performance. I even got one guy yelling we're not worthy, and bowing to the car. LOL interesting people out there... I tihnk I had the octane too high, I was running very rich all night O2's were well at 1.00 at full throttle, and knock was not even a factor. Gas was about 98 octane if not 99. Next time i'm ganan try and mix up a 94-95 octane mixture.

Well here are the videos of the runs

ftp://68.116.91.83/jcarella/My%20Videos/Evo%20Run's%204-9-03/

My best of the night was a 13.53 @99.4mph with over a 1/4 tank of gas
Best 60ft was 1.83

P.S. Our 405hp Z06 ran a best of 13.0 stock...

Nice vids, what technique did you use to launch? It looks like you didnt drop the clutch, but I could be wrong. Nice launches.

Nice 60ft. .01 tenths faster you'd got me Your MPH should be faster. How many miles are on your car? It has to be an ecu timing thinging since i broke mine in with 94 sunoco

Go borrow shiv's stage 0 and tell us how it runs

the style of launch i'm using is "matt monett style", reving between 2-3 grand to spool the turbo up then at the 1st light nailing the gas and soon as the motor hits 5000-6000 dumping the clutch. I'm getting major tire spiin and some wheel hop. But the car launches like theres no tomorrow.

1QWKEVO, what rpms are you shifting at? I'm just curious on performance vs RPM on shifts. I was shifting at 6500.

I am shifting at 6800-7000, on my data logger due to the fact that my foot is nail to the gas untill the 1/4 mile is over it logs 7300 (the rpm's climb a little between shifts)

I've taken the videos down due to the fact my bandwidth is being drug down so bad, i'll repost them later....
