Screw Carmax ... bunch of thieves. Just keep advertising your car and maybe take the time to take some good pix. Looks pretty clean, although the new clutch is probably a concern for potential buyers, but you never know. I don't think you'll get over 20K for it, though.

progress notes...
so far no good - auction just ended on ebay and no takers...everyone kept offering me 14K for it...are they f'n nuts?! at this point i'm very frustrated and can't believe that no one wants an evo - i know it's yellow, but to me it makes the evo stand out and look like a different creature compared to other colors...just don't understand why it's so tough getting rid of it...i think i may just put the white flag up and take it to carmax w/ butt cheeks wide open...

Honestly...its the color. I'm in the market for one albiet in my area, but I dont see myself in a yellow car. It's one of the top ten rules of purchasing a car (wild colors)
Good Luck with your sale, someone will pick it up

thx for the support guys...the thing that gets me is that most evos i've been finding around here (midwest and non yellow, of course) are either modded heavy and have high miles or low miles and priced in the mid 20 ranged (mostly from dealerships) - pre-evo i was happy to find an evo in a good price range (low 20s), and although yellow wasn't even in my 'evo color list', once i sat behind the wheel and took a drive, i just felt that this was a wonderful machine i had to get it - and i would live with the color eventually, and i ended loving the color! sucks to let it go, esp. after maintaining it in a mild obsessive-compulsive nature...
i happen to like yellow evos, its 3rd on my list behind graphite and black, but i traded mine with 33k on it. carmax offered me 18k for it. i dont think anyone other than a dealer is going to get more than 20k for it. good luck with the sale
also i think the enkeis and blue interior look horrible on the yellow.
