Thumbs up

It fits a IX perfectly, it sticks out the stock rear bumper the perfect amount, it looks awesome (all stainless & wont rust), solid welds & nice thick flanges, sounds great with a test pipe, deep sound, fairly quiet when crusing, it can be fairly loud when you want it to be, you can feel the extra power, spool up with a test pipe starts @ 2500rpm instead of 3000rpm, the mechanical fix works perfect with an AMS testpipe.......

A+ for AMS

I have it, and absolutly love it. I have a thread or two posted somewhere, search me.. plus AMS TBE or something, you should find it. There is a video or two also..

Recently I added a test pipe in place of the high flow cat I had, sounds MUCH better. When u hit the gas hard, it literatly SCREAMS... sounds sooo nice.

rocket900rr couldn't have said it better, I completly agree.. just figured I'd throw in my own .2cents.

I also have it, with the HFC, and I like that its not too loud, havent got into any noise related trouble, the perforance is great, and I'd definitely recommend it.

Get one. You will not be disappointed. Youll wanna frame it and put it on your wall instead of under your car. The welds are a thing of beauty. I have a testpipe and it sounds extremely nice. I get tons of compliments on the sound of it. At cruising its not too loud, but when you floor it it can get pretty damn loud. Definately worth getting. Plus, it helps that the guys at AMS are awesome too.

I was really thinking about is exhaust with the HFC because I live in Cali and didn't want to risk it with the cops. Is it still loud with the HFC? Anyone have any pics? Does it angle out JDM style? I've seen the 2 video clips.

I had a hfc on it before getting a testpipe and it wasnt too bad. At WOT its much quieter than with a testpipe. Its also fairly quiet while cruising.

Is it a full 3" or does it taper at any point? maybe where the downpipe connects to the HFC or HFC to catback.

Full 3", and I must agree, a great product from a great company. You will not be disapointed at all. I have mine set up with a high flow cat, cops around my area were bustin my ***** with the test pipe, but i have it for track days. Fit and quality are top notch!

Sounds like it's not too loud. Is that the whole turbo back? Cat or test pipe?
