if i get a 264 and 272 for my IX MR what else do i need to go with it do i need some type of larger springs or some cam gears. What is the total setup i need with cams?

 

Headstuds is all I would do.

 

Have a source for new lifters if you want it to be quiet, and headstuds are a good idea

 

Im shocked no one said FUEL PUMP! I did not know they had intake cams for the IX yet.

 

I would have figured he would have already had one, but ok.... a fuel pump.

And turbotrix has intake and exhaust cams for the IX.

It's great to give helpful answers, but this guy is getting in a bad habit of not doing any searching first.

Btw, you need nothing with a cam install, but there is only one choice for cams on the IX so far, and they are $900. Please worry about the more basic mods first. You can get a ton of power before worrying about cams.
