Absolutely nothing compares to the evo in this price range. Trading for an STI would feel like a downgrade to me. But if my life absolutely depended on me trading my evo then I'd go for a new IX, but not the X.

 

I'd consider a 2002+ 540i 6 speed. Fun cars.

OK, maybe a West Racing (Stohr) WR 1000. A new one of these (rolling chassis only) costs about $38,000. Unfortunatley, you have to put an engine and transaxle in it, but that's a small detail. This car weighs 800 lbs. and has 190 hp. Figure out the weight/hp ratio in that!!! Make a Radical look like a Rolls Royce.

I don't think I could bring myself to trade it in for another vehicle, maybe an upgraded version VIII or IX. As for R34... I friggin love that baby and I'm in Germany now, and was in Japan, so I have seen a few R34VSPEC's in that range, but even then they can't be brought back to the states, LEGALLY!!!!!!!!! believe me, its a scam, if you think you can bring one back and drive it like a US SPEC legal car, then your kidding yourself.

 

EVO 9, EVO X - Maybe...next car won't be AWD gotta do something different.
Skyline, Supra, 350Z ...RWD is the next step , skylines cost to much, supras are overpriced, 350Z gotta add the turbos.

or get out of the scene with a BMW 330, X3....

 

I like the stohr a lot but it isn't street legal.. I'd need something I can drive to/from the track and NOT a trailor track car
