Latest issues of top British auto magazines namely BBC TopGear, Evo, Jap Imports etc. has picked the Evo 9 Fq-300 (300hp + AYC) the best bang for the money. BBC Topgear even chose the Golf R32 better than the STI which came in third. Funny thing is that they think that the interior of the evo is somewhat better than the STI.
Evo magazine compared 4 cars, with the Evo 9 getting the same honors.
The british magazines are about $10.00 at any Barnes and Noble /Borders.

No I think the magazine is actually called "Evo". It's just a coincidence that an Evo is featured this month. On a side note, I have never been able to find one of these magazines at any Bay Area bookstores.

Whatever the price, it's only available in England.

You really should get a copy of Top Gear magazine. It is the best car mag in the world by far.

 

evos interior is worst than a geo metro interior

 

i've seen them in a barnes and noble bookstore over here only thing being is its 10 bucks which is a lil bit steep for a magazine with one article on the evo.

 

I read the mag. article yesterday. It's a rather short comparison but interesting. I think the writer referred to the Evo as the "cold, calculating assassin" of the three cars, hehe...

Also, the black Evo looks great in the photo.

The mag in itself is pretty good, worth buying for more than the EVO article. (if you enjoy Top Gear)

All British mags and they cost an arm and a leg.

One good thing though. The Evo rules.

 

Meh.... i think he is pretty spot on. Well... aside from my leather recaro seats and the better leather inserted door panels which come with the SSL package. The rear seats in my car are decent.

The dash is horrid though. Luckily i spend most of my time looking at the road ahead than looking at my ugly dashboard.

It appears that they have upgraded it to a FQ 430 Evolution 9 MR. Whooo that was a long name.
