Ask any performance shop in Tucson, I send them loads of customers by personal recommendation, the local performance shop owners love me for that.

I am cool with the people, I am just a bit disapointed that I have to go through this BS often.

I know people hated when I don't give names, sometimes I agree to tell the info over PM.

O ok well I guess you are man with a big heart, and a very deep pocket haha.

SKILMATIC, you're killing me. Mustang Dyno only RWD? Good Lord, man, there are many vendors on this forum alone that have AWD Mustang Dyno...you know, like Buschur himself, among many others, haha. They also tend to read much lower than Dynojets.

I feel your pain man. Nothing like contacting multiple vendors to find your parts. Ive ordered from 5 different vendors in the past few weeks trying to get parts. I havent had very good luck

I couldnt agree with you more WRXtoEVO. I have been around cars(the DSM community) for years now and have been screwed numerous times, theres nothing I hate more then having to wait 3 months for something(this happened twice from the same vendor) and the card is charged the first day of purchase. At least keep the customer up to date with whats happening. This pisses me off just reading. Good luck with getting your parts man.

Ibanez,

I already know exactly who are the good , the bad and the ugly. I might get blamed for starting a topic without giving names, I apologize in advance, as I mentioned before this is just a wake up call for all vendors to please give some good service.

Please don't get offended, there are some other vendors here that will bend over for you anytime I know who they are also. Like I said, nothing to worry about, it is just an observation.

Well I was kinda being sarcastic. Like when I was hasseling him about what he did for a living.

Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but take a look around and see how many "online" vendors are out there??? I mean there are a handful, and I bet many of them are doing it as sidejobs to make extra cash and then dropship it through someone else.

The reason that particular vendor probably takes forever to respond to their customers is that they are probably too busy doing other things to focus on making their customers happy. therefore parts are delayed etc.

I too have inquired about becoming a vendor locally for methanol and other things that people will need for their cars. The reason its taking me so long is that I wanna start a business where I can devote enough of my time to make my customers happy.

Whats the point in advertising a part and not having it in stock? I too would hate to have my customers wait...

I also have received many PM's and emails about when I'll be able to deliver the methanol that people need for their alky injection kits.... I PM them back saying that I havent had the time to go down to the supplier to stock up.... but when I do find the time, believe me I'm gonna stock up in bulk and advertise like mad locally.

Bear in mind my brother and I rented an extra 1.5 car garage in our neighborhood which we plan to keep a lot of our inventory....

Anyhow, back to the original posters concerns. I think there are way too many online vendors out there looking to make money too fast ...and the sucky part is that it makes you the vendor look stupid when you dont have a part in stock or if you dont follow up with your emails and messages.....

Hmmm...that is too long to wait. I think alot of these online vendors just collect a bunch of orders together so they can get a break on shipping, nevermind how long the customer at the top of the list has to wait.
I don't think this problem is ever going to go away

I hate bad web upkeep too. It's sloppy and unproffesional. It takes 5 minutes or less to update the HTML and FTP it to your web server.

And SKILMATIC, a "Mustang" dyno has nothing to do with a Ford Mustang...
