sweet pics, whyd the cops show up?

 

some tow truck driver told us to slow down on the freeway so i said ok and gave him a thumbs up and then right after that we all cut two lanes over and kinda cut him off and then just took off then he called and they got us down the street after wee got of the freeway a undercover said that we passed him but thats bull **** he said he saw us do things that we did but he got all that from the tow truck driver.

yep good old sac PD and they gave us 90 in a 65 but it was all bull **** because a under cover said that we passed him on the freeway but we did not a tow truck driver called and told them all th stuff we where doing. but he said we pased him so it was like he saw us wreckless driving but he realy did not so he did not give us that he just said that we where speeding but i dont give a **** while i was siting in the back of the cop car i saw every one driving by counting the evos they where like 1......... 2............. 3.............

 

Um first off that BS, a cop can not issue you a ticket unless they have some form of a speeding record wether it be LIDAR, radar or vascar and such, so either they really had a cop camping or something else is up, i know cops see a bunch of evos with big wings so they thing street race or F&F or some ****, theres gotta be more to this story, tell me on the ticket what the recording device that was used

 

yes, a cop can issue a ticket for estimating speed. there is a school or class that they attend. we have it happen here in idaho. as with every ticket, every state is different. cops here don't have to list the device used, nor do they have to "show" you the reading on the speed gun. they can also estimate speed, and can use a stopwatch between the airplane stripes on highways, along with "pacing" with a cop car behind or in front of you.

If I was in that group, I would challenge the ticket and make the officer prove you were speeding. if they did in fact pass an unmarked car, that officer will have to show up in court as the witness. if there was not one, then case should be dismissed since it seems; to my reading of the story; that the ticketing officer is relying on another officers testimony and didn't actually witness the "crime".
