I'm set on getting an EVO IX from south coast or maybe a local dealer if I can find a decent price on a MR.

I was talking to a co worker and hes like don't california cars have stronger emissions thus some are weaker in power?

I tried search but didn't work to well. Have the cali EVO IXs dynoed the same as every other states EVO? Is this just an urban legend?

 

Im pretty sure that they are the same between the states but not between countries

even if it had a more restrictive exhaust(i know thats what mitsu did with the 3g eclipse to cali cars) you most likely will be pulling it off in two months or less.
