Cool Who wants to step up and sponsor a turbo kit?

I think I need a larger turbo, for tracking my car. I want to see if anyone wants to sponsor one/donate one, in a joint effort to raise awareness of your products. I see more and more people with the "Sponsored by" so and so. I am sure these arrangements are for a discounted price for the product. I am not sponsored by anyone, but want to know who wants in? I have sold directly and indirectly more parts, just because of the stickers on my car, then probably any single individual out there, who is not sponsored. (Ask Exedy and Tanabe to name a couple)

What it takes to get sponsorship???

Write-ups on the product
Name recognition
Publicity
traveling across country to shows
traveling cross country to do racing events (and do well in them)
Having the car available at a moments notice to go to spot XYZ for some publicity.
Have the car available for the Sponsors to do whatever tweaks they want, and use the car for whatever purpose they want.

Constantly reporting back from the field on customer intrest/feedback. You gotta have a "great" loving relationship with the sponsor.
I can do all these, and am doing lots of track events this year, and can do what is needed to get it done.

I have had some pm's, on this, but will put it out in the open, and if NO BITES, NO big deal, just thought I would share.

SELLING FURTHER PRODUCTS of the company who sponsored you.

Are these questions out of line? Am I shouting into an empty tunnel? If so, someone tell me. Or is the idea to get a wall FULL of trophies first before asking such assanine questions?

I've also seen some shops advertising new products and wants a bone stock evo to sponsor. They post them on forums at times. But you will be missing your car for a while. One shop advertising the new Saga gauges and he'll need your car for a lil over a month.

I am over stock trim, and I don't care who gets the car for how long, but it has to be for something of POWA!! Not appearence mods, like underbody lighting, lambo doors and such.

I am out of "show" mode, and more into GO mode!! Who needs to test a product? I got the meat in the car, now I need the potatoes, or is that vice-versa!

When the evo community hears of TURBO KITS, who do we think of? AMS and Buschur. I am looking for the lesser known companies to step up to the plate, so you are well known as the 2 I listed. Lets get the name out.

I can slap a sticker on the side of my car, I guess even if it says : "Uncle Cooters garage" Home of the "new and improved" evo turbos!!

Well, that might be a stretch, but I want to help out the "smaller/lesser known" shops, become more known. Use my car for R&D!! I think this is going no where, so we can open this up to General questions!

Tampa, your on the air, go ahead with your question!

Are you running both days? or just one? I am going to do Saturday, in HPDE3 I think. I didn't like it the last time, just because the 20 Minute sessions were actually 10. other than that, I had a BALL!!
