I've been holding out in putting my front plate on, until the day I get ticketed for it. Well, I thought that day was going to be yesterday. I was driving along a relatively quiet road, and thankfully not speeding. A cop was coming the other way and I see him slow down and nearly come to a stop right in the road before I passed him. I thought to myself, okay, this is it, finally getting busted for no front plate. Well, to my surprise, after I pass, he just keeps on going.

So my heart just about goes back to normal when not more than a minute later another cop passes me on the same road, but this one doesn't pay much notice and just drives on. I have to say that I've been lucky so far. I've gone by plenty of cops who have given my car a good glance and no one's said anything yet. Maybe Central Jersey ain't so bad after all :-)

Of course, now that I've said this, watch me get pulled over tonight...
